Being told that you'd help bring a new life.

The Savior, Emmanuel, Who can you tell?

your cousin, even if your not a wife.

Blessed be me for this, who could fortell?

A visit from my cousin, I shall agree

A blessing she is, never to be undone.

So young and humble to be called as she.

Only to magnify the Lord, Mother like son.

Both be blessed through all generation

Hope, mercy and strength to the great nation.

for many eye did see, foot followed and aligned

hearts praying for prophecies divining

Dayspring appearing to enlighten by shining

Blessed is she glorified through all generation
